This natatorium is conceived not merely as a place for swimming, but as a social container that responds to the everyday life of the surrounding neighborhood. It is designed to host a wide range of activities, encouraging people to gather, interact, and linger beyond the act of swimming itself.

The architectural experience begins with a sequence of stepped landscapes that unfold as a series of open-air rooms. Moving upward and downward through these stairs becomes a gradual procession toward the main building. Along the way, platforms at different levels create gathering spaces of varying scales—places to meet, chat, rest, and play.

Elevated above the ground, the main natatorium maintains the solemnity required for competitive events, while its columns and shifting levels extend the building’s role into daily neighborhood life. These elements form informal playgrounds and social zones, especially engaging for children. With open spaces free of rigid boundaries and a gently curved roof supported by slender columns, the natatorium establishes a harmonious yet distinctive identity for the community.
