Project Name:
Re-Veil

Year completed:
Competition
Unbuilt

Project type:
Pavillion/Renovation

Location:
Ponzano di fermo, Italy

Overview:

RE-VEIL introduces a new structural system that encases and protects the existing temple while transforming its ruins into a renewed cultural and performance space.

Like a falling curtain, the structure partially conceals the original architecture, framing an elevated stage while allowing light and air to move gently through its fabric-like enclosure.

A colored oculus at the roof directs a single ray of sunlight onto the concrete seating, creating moments of discovery and interaction.

The preserved temple remains both physically and symbolically present, while the intervention extends its spiritual and cultural role.

RE-VEIL explores how light, material, and architecture can reveal new meaning within historic layers.
